Tools/Supplies Needed:

• new wiper blade

Procedure:

• you will notice a little rectangular plastic cap with an arrow and lock imprinted on it by the wiper pivot
• this lock will need to be slid over to the left
• sometimes this lock will stick, so you may have to wiggle it a little in order to pop it loose
• lift the wiper arm up and pull the wiper blade directly off the arm
• rest the wiper arm back on the windshield so it doesn't accidentally snap back down and risk damaging the windshield
• reinstalling the wiper blade only goes on in one orientation and also does take a BMW specific blade
• place the wiper blade back into the bracket, then slide the lock back over to the right
• ensure the wiper blade is locked into the wiper arm
