No you cannot. The metal key is moulded into the plastic case.

My plastic case is broken, where can I buy a new case?

A new case can be purchased at a variety of places such as from the dealer or an online source. When buying a new case, you will need the new key which comes with the case cut as well. This does not to be done at the dealer, any locksmith or a retailer with a key cutting machine can do this. Then remove the electronics from your old key fob and place it into the new key fob.

Programming Procedure

1. Enter the vehicle and ensure all doors are closed. Insert the key, then turn the ignition to run position, but do not start the engine.
2. Using a currently programmed key fob, press and hold the unlock button for four to ten seconds.
3. Within the specified four to ten seconds, continue pressing the unlock button and press the panic button as well. There will be an audible chime which indicates programming mode has been accessed. Then release both buttons.
4. You will have 60 seconds to add all new key fobs. Press and hold the lock and unlock button simultaneously for 2 seconds on the new key fob. There will be an audible chime once accepted.
