DIY: Dodge Keyless Entry Horn Chirp Enable/Disable

Tools/Supplies Needed:
• working keyless entry remoteProcedure:
• first place the key in ignition and turn the key to the on position but do not start the engine• press and hold the unlock button on the keyless remote for four to ten seconds
• while the unlock button is pressed, press the lock button on the transmitter and then release both buttons
• this will be followed by a chime when programming is completed

This procedure does apply to other Dodge models, as well as Chrysler, Plymouth, and Jeep models. This particular tutorial was done on a 2003 Dodge Dakota.
