Tools/Supplies Needed:
• small standard/flat screwdriver
• phillips screwdriver
• lithium battery model number CR2032
Procedure:
• separate the case in half using a standard screwdriver
• there is a small cutout on the backside of the key fog, then the buttons and key portion will separate
• using a standard screwdriver again, split the button portion open
• once you have the circuit board exposed, remove the small phillips screw using a screwdriver
• slide out the circuit board and a battery will be exposed underneath
• a standard screwdriver can be used to remove it
• a replacement battery is a lithium battery model number CR2032
• installed the new battery with the positive side downwards facing the rear of the case
• as for the rubber bottom pad, that can be removed by pushing the buttons inward, then grabbing the rear and pulling out
• installation in reverse

Try reprogramming the remote. Please refer to the steps below on how that is done.
Programming Procedure
1. Enter the vehicle and ensure all the doors are closed.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn to position I.
3. Wait five seconds
4. Turn the key to position II and then back to position I four times.
5. If done correctly, a single chime will sound.
6. Then remove the key from the ignition.
7. Press any button on the key fob you wish to program. When done correctly, a chime should sound to demonstrate it has been entered in the system.
8. Repeat step seven to program anymore key fobs.
9. Once completed, wait three minutes then test each key fob to ensure they are functioning correctly.
