Video tutorial on how to remove the fender repeater lights on a BMW E39. This tutorial does apply to both the pre and post face-lifted vehicles. Both amber and white fender marker lights are interchangeable between the years as well. The bulb which is required for a replacement is 2821. Amber lenses require a white bulb, clear lenses require an amber bulb. When removing the light assembly, some might be stuck from sitting over time, therefore they do require a little extra force when removing. This particular tutorial was done on a 1997 BMW 540i.
