DIY: Volvo 850 Cabin Filter Replacement

Tools/Supplies Needed:

• T25 screwdriver
• new replacement cabin filter
• vacuum cleaner

Procedure:

• open the hood
• locate the filter on the passenger side of the vehicle under the plastic cowl
• remove the three T25 torx screws along the front of the cowl
• once they are removed, pull straight up, and you will be able to see the cabin filter under the cowl
• pull the cabin filter tab upwards and side forward
• now remove the cabin filter out to the side of the cowl
• vacuum any debris if present in the cabin filter cavity
• reinstall new filter in reverse
